ABOUT ME

Based in Leeds Since graduating from Arts Uni there, I’m a Graphic Designer, Artist and Social Media Manager, currently working within design and digital marketing.

My design work often draws inspiration from a wide range of art movements; Dada, Futurism, Constructivism and Art Nouveau being particularly influential. However perhaps more influential to my work are passions outside design; Music, nature, skating, climbing and literature all influencing the themes and style of my work. Much of my design work combines elements from both fields to create work that I like to think of as uniquely mine.

My work spans a wide range of media, styles and disciplines with a great deal of variety between all of my projects. I’m fascinated by creating contrast through my work, whether this be through mixing the digital with the practical or by combining the ascetics of widely different design styles.

Within my professional work I like to use negative space and bold, contrasting colours to catch the eye and highlight key detail and text; Preventing my work from becoming too confused and overcomplex.

Outside of my professional work, I like to create posters and small handmade publications like zines and pamphlets, as well as experimenting with different practical printing methods like screen and lino.
